NCWG Meeting

  • NCWG Meeting 3411 N Taft Ave Loveland, CO, 80538 United States (map)

Why Bother? Why Do We Still Make Things by Hand? is the intriguing title of the program to be presented by Anne Bossert, fiber artist and woodworker. Anne combines love of color, dying and weaving to create functional art.

The afternoon workshop will be “Bringing Custom Color to Your Weaving with Warp Painting.” She will show us how to use Procion MX dyes to paint color directly onto warp threads. Students bring a 2-3 yard warp already wound off. Class time is spent applying dye in different ways. Students then take their warps home to batch and rinse. $50 plus $20 materials fee.
