Sally Goble studied with traditional southwestern tapestries with Eppie Archuleta. Eppie earned the reputation of a master weaver coming from five generations of weavers. 

Eppie was a very thorough teacher and encouraged her students to excel, saying “pretty good but take it out and start over” many times. She also told stories of her culture, her family, and their traditions. What a rare and wonderful opportunity to learn the details of Rio Grande/Chimayo tapestry.
