Using the handheld Maru Dai, students will explore both foundational techniques and creative possibilities for cord-making. Learn to make braids with two colors for jewelry, ties, and fasteners in weaving, knitting and felting. All skill levels are welcome.

Instructor Bio:
Myra Chang is a member and president of Fiber 2 Finish Fiber Arts Guild of Valencia County and is an active member and president of Las Arañas Spinners and Weavers Guild in Albuquerque. She is a professionally trained teacher (University of Northern Colorado alumna) and maintains a working studio where she offers instruction and workshops. She has also taught at HGA Convergence and IWC.
